I’m extremely proud of the work that we (Greg, Thithi and myself) have done together so far. And this is only half of it! These images are whimsical and beautiful, and the perfect start to autumn dressing. I’m not sure about you guys but I think Autumn has got to be my favorite time of year. It starts cooling down after those deathly hot days, you can start playing with layers as you need not worry about your imminent death by sweat & it’s really really beautiful! The colours, oh the gold, orange reds and browns. I just love autumn colours so much!
How gorg does Thithi look in that pink faux fur (key work is faux here, people) cut-off jacket? The pink is soft and feminine but the fabrication gives this look a little autumn edge. Paired with a pair of metallic green culottes and we have our selves an edgy, yet feminine, fun autumn look!
My look as a little simpler. I paired a box cut sweater with a beautiful print with a super 70’s inspired suede grey/purple skirt with tassels for some spice. I don’t know, tassels either work or they don’t, they can be a complete hit of miss. Here, they are a hit – If I don’t say so myself! I liked the juxtaposition of my two items, the softness of the suede and the figure hugging fit of the skirt give this outfit it’s feminine qualities while the boxiness of the sweater brings some androgyny to the table.
Together these two outfits compliment each other is all the right ways and it made me realize why it was so fun to play matchy match (twinsy twins) with your childhood BFF when we were growing up. Outfit co-ordination is fun!
What are your favorite Autumn trends this year?
